CIPMO, Italian Center for Peace in Middle East

Considered as one of the most important Italian non-profit organisations endeavoured towards encouraging and facilitating the Israeli, Palestinian and Arab dialogue and it is characterized by a balanced and constructive position to the middle-eastern issue, the Center was established in 1989, and is based in Milan. Since 1998 CIPMO is recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as institution of national interest for International Affairs. 


Confronti is a magazine which deals with issues such as interfaith and intercultural dialogue with a pluralistic approach. Confronti is also a program office which deals with several cooperation and development programs in the Balkans, the Middle East and the Mediterranean area. In May 2015 Confronti has founded “Confronti Research Center” (Centro Studi Confronti), which focuses on monitoring the different religious communities in Italy and with particular attention to topics like migration, geopolitical and social issues.
