On January 13, 2025 at 09.00 in room 19-20, Casa Rossa of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” the seminar entitled “SKELETAL ANCHORAGE AND ORTHODONTICS - synergies and possibilities” will be held.
The event aims to provide participants with knowledge and concepts on the use of skeletal anchorages in orthodontic treatment, both for adolescent and adult patients. All types of miniscrews and their characteristics will be illustrated, the anatomical and orthodontic rationale for their positioning, both at inter-radicular and extra-radicular levels. The absolute and relative indications for the use of skeletal anchorage in orthodontics, and the related orthodontic biomechanics will be analyzed.
The seminar is an initiative of prof. Aldo Giancotti, University of Rome Tor Vergata, and Dr. Prunela Poliçi, coordinator of the degree course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”.
