At the 16th Vaccine Congress held from 12 -14 September, 2022, at Riva del Garda Congress Centre, Lake Garda, Italy- Elsevier, Dr.Enkeleda Gjini, researcher from Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel" and PhD of Tor Vergata, presented the results of her research:“Vaccine hesitancy – in terms of attitude, awareness and practice – related to childhood vaccination among Albanian parents” The immunization programs have saved millions of lives each year and their prevention efficiency is proportionally to the vaccination coverage rates. Vaccine hesitancy, defined as the delay in acceptance or refusal of vaccines despite the availability of vaccination services, is becoming a growing global concern.
