Our university has successfully been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), for the period 2021-2027, the accreditation issued by the European Commission for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) eligible to actively participate in European and international mobility and cooperation programs related to Erasmus+, the European Program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.
This result is a significant achievement for our university which reflects the commitment and dedication we have shown over the years in promoting international standards of education and academic cooperation.
The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education establishes the general quality principles for the management of Erasmus+ activities and ensures that our university is committed to the respect of rigorous criteria in terms of credit recognition, transparency, inclusion, equity and quality of the educational and administrative experience and how it intends to adhere to the new principles of the Program, which are Inclusion, Digitalization, Green Sustainability and Civic Engagement.
Achieving the ECHE allows our university to continue to participate in a wide range of activities offered by the Erasmus+ program, including: Student and Staff Mobility, Strategic Partnerships (the creation and strengthening of collaborations with academic institutions and organizations from all over Europe, promoting innovative projects and sharing good practices) and International Cooperation Projects (which aim to improve the quality of education and training, contributing to the modernization and internationalization of our academic activities).
