CRISU, the Research Center in Human Sciences, is born.

The Research Center in Human Sciences at Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” aims to address the issues related to the development of the human person in line with the idea of ​​integral human development in an interdisciplinary key.

In a meeting held today, Fr. Appolinaire Anguissa, Director of the Research Center in Human Sciences, presented the CRISU logo and above all the important role that this center will have inside and outside the University with the aim of becoming known in the Balkans as well.

 Other CRISU members are: Dr. Bernard Caruana O.P, Prof. Antonio Lauria, Prof. Mauro Bisceglia, Prof. Patrizio Polisca, Prof. Paulina Hoti.

At the official start of the activities of the Research Center in Human Sciences, greeted Fr. Jerome Ndo Mih, President of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Foundation, Prof. Bruno Giardina, Magnificent Rector of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, Prof. Francesco Rulli and Prof. Bernard Caruana.

 As established in the Rector's Decree of 21 December 2019, and signed by the Magnificent Rector Prof. Bruno Giardina, the Center will work to strengthen and consolidate the natural humanistic orientation of the faculties operating in the university, finding its source of inspiration on the principles of the Church and aims to become a structure of excellence both nationally and internationally.

Furthermore, CRISU aims to use and enhance the staff already present in the departments and centers of the university, constituting an ideal meeting place between scholars of different disciplines in order to allow fruitful exchange and dialogue between collaborators of different fields inside the university and conducting studies and research with national and international partners.
