First-year students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at UKZKMvisited, as part of their internship, the “Tirana Towers” construction site, where a residential tower project is under development in Tirana. The educational visit was part of the course “Materials and Elements of Architectural Construction,” and its objective was to familiarize students with the transition from design to construction, including soil preparation, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, steel reinforcement preparation, and the creation of a 1:1 scale study model. The students were accompanied in this practical experience by Prof. Junik Balisha.
This is not the first time that Architecture students at UKZKMhave participated in such study visits, which enrich their professional skills and increase their chances of becoming highly qualified human resources in their respective fields in the future.
