The Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics must have acquired theoretical, scientific, and professional knowledge in the field of Pathophysiology, Clinic and Therapy of diseases of the female genital system and reproductive function.
There are specific areas of expertise: Perinatology including prenatal diagnostics and the physiology of childbirth; gynecology including the functional, surgical and physiopathology aspects of human reproduction. The duration of the course is five years.
