Interdisciplinary Seminar "Cerebral insulin resistance in Alzheimer's disease: new etiological and therapeutic pathways"

As part of the activities of the project "Dementia in Albania: epidemiology, pharmacological therapies and the use of antibiotics", financed by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, on January 16th 2024, it was held the interdisciplinary seminar entitled "Cerebral insulin resistance in Alzheimer's disease: new etiological and therapeutic pathways".

As part of the activities of the project "Dementia in Albania: epidemiology, pharmacological therapies and the use of antibiotics", financed by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, on January 16th 2024, it was held the interdisciplinary seminar entitled "Cerebral insulin resistance in Alzheimer's disease: new etiological and therapeutic pathways". Prof. Assoc. Ilir Alimehmeti, speaker of the event, informed the participants on the link between diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease, as well as the role of antidiabetics in Alzheimer's Disease.
