Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy

As part of the activities of the project "Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy"," financed by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in the field of education and science, on June 3,4,5 2024, the staff of the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" visited the Catholic University "Our Lady of the Good Council".


As part of the activities of the project "Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy"," financed by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in the field of education and science, on June 3,4,5 2024, the staff of the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" visited the Catholic University "Our Lady of the Good Council".

Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku, Prof. Ass. Dafina Kaçuri, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi and Ass. Zana Gërgi of the University "Fehmi Agani", Gjakovë were welcomed by the Scientific Coordinator of the project for the Albanian part, Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, and by the coordinator of the Physiotherapy study program PhD Emanuela Prendi.

The students of the second and third year of the Physiotherapy Course were introduced to the following topics: "Physiotherapy as a science, profession and mission", "Pediatrics in Kosovo and in regional context", "Community-based rehabilitation - the perspective of Kosovo", "Rehabilitation in infantile cerebral palsy", which were followed online also by other members of the project.

The professors of University "Fehmi Agani" Kosovo also visited the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Our Lady of Good Council, and discussed on the hydrotherapy treatment for children with infantile cerebral palsy.
