Our university participated in two #Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) “BOOST - Biodiversity for Sustainable Health’’ and “EX MIND -Extended Mind for the Design of Human Environment" organized by the Departments of Pharmacy and Architecture of the University of Chieti-Pescara “G. D’Annunzio” in collaboration with other EU universities.

Both programs provided an enriching mix of academic learning and cultural activities which combined virtual (June-July-August) and in-person sessions (September 2024).

BOOST - Associate Professor Silvi Bozo, together with pharmacy students Klea Bendo, Xhiljola Duro, Kamila Domi, Artejana Marku and Ermela Sulaj, actively participated in this collaborative programme. Professor Bozo also presented our university and strengths in the field of pharmacy. The experience provided a unique platform for students to explore the intersection of biodiversity and health, deepening their understanding of biodiversity in sustainable health and sustainable practices in pharmacy.

EX MIND - Architecture students Klaudia Guzhda and Eni Maliqati actively participated and engaged in lectures, workshops, collaborative projects, and site visits, exploring innovative design concepts and contributing to discussions on green and public spaces, facilities, and more.

Besides enhancing the students’ and staff skills and knowledge, these BIPs facilitated valuable networking opportunities with international students, staff and experts of the field.
