Within the framework of the project “Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy in children with infantile cerebral palsy,” funded by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation and implemented as part of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in the field of education and science, the staff of the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” conducted a visit to the “Fehmi Agani” University of Gjakova in November 2025.
The delegation: Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, PhD. Enkeleda Gjini, and PhD. Emanuela Prendi was warmly received by the Vice-Rector of the University of Gjakova, Dafine Kamberi, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, and Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku. During the meeting, the project team presented and discussed the current findings of the studies conducted, highlighting preliminary data, the impact of physiotherapeutic interventions, as well as emerging data from pharmacological treatment assessments. They also defined the next steps toward the dissemination of research outcomes in both countries.
The project coordinators, Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha (Albania) and Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku (Kosovo), outlined the forthcoming activities and collaborative initiatives planned within the project.
