Summary:
InnoBlueGrowth’s main objective is to build a real community of interactive activities and thematic or “modular” projects (study, testing and capitalization projects), dealing with Blue Growth, in order to increase their impacts towards common identified targets. This approach is a condition to support Mediterranean clusters in their transnational activities processes and key section networks of the Mediterranean region.
Moreover, InnoBlueGrowth enhances the dissemination and transferability of projects results, consequently ensuring a wider and deeper impact towards external multilevel stakeholders, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of the Mediterranean area through innovative investments in the Blue economy.
InnoBlueGrowth will implement concrete actions - among others: a communication strategy, community development initiatives, and capitalization events - and will build a real community of modular projects on Blue Growth. This innovative community will allow the reinforcement of the cross-cutting and integrated dynamics between projects and transnational key stakeholders, which is a condition for supporting Mediterranean clusters in their transnational activities processes.
Furthermore, five modular projects are part of the Blue Growth Community: MAESTRALE, PELAGOS, PROteuS, IBLUE and 4 HELIX +, that respectively focus on blue, sustainable energy developments and maritime surveillance, on networks and innovation clusters for renewable energy synergies in Mediterranean coasts and islands, maritime security and oversight, competitiveness through the 3-pillar business model (3-PBM) and strengthening the 4th sea cluster MED through an open source merger..
