February 11 - International Day of the Sick

On February 11, 2025, for the International Day of the Sick, at Aula B105, Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, we will reflect together on the pain and compassion that accompany suffering. A topic that deeply touches every heart, especially in the Albanian culture, where family and community play a crucial role in supporting those who suffer.
Pain, though experienced as a difficulty, becomes a bridge of connection and understanding. Albanian popular wisdom teaches us that every suffering can transform into strength and beauty.
The discussion on this theme will be led by PhD Enkeleda Gjini, coordinator of the Nursing Degree Program, and PhD Emanuela Prendi, coordinator of the Physiotherapy Degree Program at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”.
