Fifth International Congress for Nurses and Physiotherapists Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel" 2 June 2023

The goal was to design strategies for the growth of scientific research networks and global collaboration models through:  -analyzing the changes in health systems with responsibility and a practical knowledge to aid in their growth. -successfully advocating for the availability and excellence of nursing care and physical therapy rehabilitation.

The fifth International Congress on "Advanced Clinical Specialistic Training and Regulation of Health Professions: Future Developments for a Greater Centrality of People" had these goals as its focus.
During the event specifically for students of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in nursing and physiotherapy at the Catholic University OLGC, eminent worldwide speakers addressed these concerns. Numerous specialists from the various Albanian districts attended the meeting as well.

The proceedings opened with greetings from Father Binu, Vice-President of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Foundation and Prof. Edmond Hajdëri Vice-Rector of the University.
At the conference chaired by Prof. Gennaro Rocco of the Catholic University NSBC participated:
Prof. Dyanne Affonso, San Francisco USA; Prof. Joice Fitzpatrik, Case Western University – Cleveland – USA; Prof. Susan Gennaro, Boston College USA; Prof. Franklin Shaffer, CGFSN - Philadelphia USA; Prof. M. De Maria, University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
All sessions were moderated and led by Dr. Blerina Duka, President of the Order of Nurses of Albania, UISH and Prof. Alessandro Stievano, University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
The congress was also the occasion for the presentation of the research lines of many Albanian PhD students.
Participants and presenters at the congress urged ever-increasing worldwide cooperation to advance research, healthcare standards, and rehabilitation by putting the citizen at the center of care.
