International Conference "ITALY-ALBANIA: The Role of Women in Science, Art, History, and Economy"

This inter-university conference was organized thanks to the special attention of the UKZKM Rector’s Delegate for the Gender Equality Plan, Prof. Ersilia Buonomo.
The conference was enriched by the contributions of MP Mesila Doda, professors from the Catholic University and other universities, both as attendees and panel moderators.
The Rector of UKZKM, Prof. Leonardo Palombi, during his welcoming speech, stated that the university aims to promote culture and the culture of gender equality as an essential part of a progressive society.
Prof. Ersilia Buonomo, in her speech, emphasized that this international conference is dedicated to the youth, particularly young women, also highlighting the symbolic meaning of the hall's decoration, which was filled with white roses in memory and honor of Pope Francis.
The conference speakers shared various perspectives on the development of our society, where efforts are continually made to give women and girls the recognition they deserve, as they contribute with dedication and passion to everyday life, nurturing the highest human values.
