Girls and women, the better half of our society. On the international day of the triumph of their rights in many countries around the world, the Catholic University " Our Lady of Good Counsel " becomes a powerful voice in their support. The University will honor this significant moment for all women and girls with a cultural event where the reflections of distinguished ladies will be discussed in front of a massive audience. It has always been essential to strengthen the role of women in society. In the figure of the woman, life, family, society, and the future come together. In the event organized at the “Aula Magna”, experiences, and examples of women between family and career are exchanged.
The woman, who gives birth, is also innovative in the development and education of the new generations, which is why the International Day of March 8 is a good opportunity to support the critical opinion on the empowerment of women and girls, an event that also improve the meeting in our university environments.
This is not the first time we are speaking about women and girls. Throughout the academic and student sphere of the University, they carry out an important role which is often considered as the guarantee of the overall success.

While some distinguished ladies shared their stories through which they told the resistance of women to the challenges of life. These are the success stories of Prof. Malvina Hoxha, the surgeon Inida Ruli, the writer Mimoza Agastra. The audience was also greeted by the melodious voices of the Foundation's choir.
Let's raise our glasses to each other as if we were together all the women of Tirana, Albania, and the world.
As we celebrate, let's think for them that need our support. It is very important to contribute modestly and economically on this day of March 8th for women in difficulty. The funds raised will go to needy women who are among us this March 8, in the “Aula Magna”, in collaboration with the association " Counseling line for abused women and girls".
