On Monday, January 26, 2026, the second mobility at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" was concluded, promoted by Prof. Marcello Leopoldo from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel" within the framework of the TNE DESK project.
The TNE (Transnational Education) project involved educational initiatives foreseen by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and financed projects for internationalization and mobility for students and faculty, aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation with geographical areas such as Latin America and the Balkans.
The University of Bari "Aldo Moro" served as the project coordinator for "DESK – Developing Shared Knowledge in Innovative Materials and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Economy and Green Transition."
Within the framework of the project, international mobility was made possible for Dr. Arvjola Hodaj, Ph.D., and Dr. Bianka Hoxha, Ph.D., as well as incoming mobility for Prof. Enza Lacivita and Prof. Antonio Lopalco from the University of Bari "Aldo Moro."
In June 2025, Dr. Arvjola Hodaj, Ph.D., participated in the research group activities led by Prof. Leopoldo, deepening her knowledge of HPLC analytical methods in the pharmaceutical field, while in January of this year, Dr. Bianka Hoxha, Ph.D., joined Prof. Denora’s research group to carry out part of the joint research project on the formulation of St. John’s Wort extracts for dermatological use.
In full accordance with the objectives of the TNE project, all activities, both outgoing and incoming, were carried out to strengthen the launch of the new research laboratories "Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis" and "Pharmaceutical Technology," inaugurated on January 28, 2026, at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Catholic University " Our Lady of Good Counsel."
