The Project: "Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy"

We are pleased to announce that, in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in the field of education and science, for the period 2024-2026, the project entitled "Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy", presented by Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, head of the Department of Chemical-Toxicological and Pharmacological Evaluation of Drugs, Faculty of Pharmacy, has been selected for funding by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation.


We are pleased to announce that, in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in the field of education and science, for the period 2024-2026, the project entitled "Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy", presented by Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, head of the Department of Chemical-Toxicological and Pharmacological Evaluation of Drugs, Faculty of Pharmacy, has been selected for funding by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation.

The project will be directed by Prof. Assoc Malvina Hoxha, and will include other professors member of the project, respectively Prof. Simonetta Galgani, Prof. Stefano Mugnaini, and PhD. Emanuela Prendi. On behalf of the partners of the Republic of Kosovo, the project will be led by Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku, and will include participants such as Prof. Ass. Dafina Kaçuri, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi and Ass. Zana Gërgi from "Fehmi Agani" University, Gjakovë.

The project aims to exchange scientific and practical experience related to the pharmacological and physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with infantile cerebral palsy in Albania and Kosovo. By identifying risk factors, determining the prevalence of this disease, promoting its prevention, and proposing effective strategies for its treatment and prevention, the aim is to improve the quality of health services for this group of patients.

Applying and benefiting from funding for such projects is an important achievement and an indication of our commitment to education, and scientific research.
