Summary:
The project focuses upon the dissemination of knowledge of administrative and managerial international models and of the needs of education and training in the Albanian reality of health services. The project was carried out by the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, in collaboration with scholars and experts from the University of Florence, Italy. Moreover, based on the bilateral cooperation of respective partners in the field of research, education and training, this action was undertaken to support Albanian healthcare reform.
As mentioned above, continuous cooperation in the field of research and education in health care services, which also has included the Albanian Ministry of Health, during its three years of implementation made possible the realization of seven training courses and a conference on healthcare system management. 870 directors and specialists from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro benefited from the project. Participants in the projects, operated in the field of health management on the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
