Pastoral of University

Pastoral of University service is a Catholic presence within the university and aims to offer students, academic staff and administrative and technical staff without any distinction, a friendly presence, a space for listening, a proposal for human, spiritual and cultural growth.

Pastoral of University service is a Catholic presence within the university and aims to offer students, academic staff and administrative and technical staff without any distinction, a friendly presence, a space for listening, a proposal for human, spiritual and cultural growth.  Inspired and founded on the Christian faith, university pastoral care is a family that reflects on the essential questions of life and society, opens the possibility of exchange and sharing. Through the activities it proposes, university pastoral care wants to create a dynamic and joyful atmosphere that brings together life, faith, reason and science in search of the full expression of our humanity. The Pastoral of University Care also offers members of the university community the opportunity to coordinate academic study, and related academic activities, with religious and moral principles, thus integrating life with faith in Christ on a path of sanctification.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The Pastoral of University service considers the University to be one of the privileged spaces of dialogue, faith and culture, and commits itself to promoting the University itself as a place to develop the attitude to research and study as a permanent dimension of life, with the opening to the other that every true rational path eventually opens up, as an instance or as a requirement.
Our pastoral action is committed to helping the Students and all the UKZKM staff to enhance the years of the University to operate the integral formation of one's own person and the maturation of a personal synthesis between culture and faith; - to educate themselves to a serious participation in university life, as a preparatory moment for the insertion into the civil and social life of their environment;

To carry out these aims, the UKZKM University follows:

1. cultural Activities;
2. psychological support;
3. vocational animation
4. the UKZKM Volunteer Service;
5. to know the religious and lay reality present in the University;
6. helping to live in an inter-religious and inter-cultural environment;
7. preparation for the sacraments of Christian initiation.
