Who are we?
The Library “Fratel Paolo Ruatti”, of the University is located in the ground floor of the central building of University and offers access for 12 hours from Monday to Sunday.
The library functions as centre of education and offers different services. It has many functions connected to studying and reading, learning and scientific research. The purpose of services offered by the library is to fulfil its mission in the best way, including the vision and the objectives according to responding regulations of UNESCO/ IFLA
The entrance in the library and the consulting of its bibliography it is free of charge to all users. The hall of reading offers wireless connection and it can be used with the credentials of the University.
The library collection
The library collection is preserved carefully and it is supplied continuously with books and magazines in different languages and computers are provided. Different literature in the field of Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nursery, Pharmacy, Architecture, Economy and Political sciences can be found into different languages, including here: Albanian, Italian, English, French and German.
What do we offer?
The library is divided in the mentioned areas based on their functions.
- Multifunctional area that offers oriented service
- reading area with 220 seating chairs
- Studying and researching area which contains 3 computers in disposal of scientific and research purpose.
- The archive of literature which contains more than 15.000 books
- An electronic catalogue which is accessible via internet also from home.
- A database of magazines and books in electronic format (e-books) / (Hinari).

Services on disposal of students:
Entrance in the Library, wireless network, the reading hall, orientation, bibliographic information, accessible information offered by the responsible office, written information, borrowing books, delivery document, electronic sources, use of the area for electronic consulting, wireless network area and personal computers, and different services including every necessity in order to fulfilling the needs and requests of its users.

The working hours of our services
The services of Library from Monday to Friday: 08:30-20:00 Saturday: 9:00-14:00
Reading area Monday to Sunday: 08:30 – 21:00
The access is not possible during holidays connected to religions (Christians and Muslims), including Mondays and Sundays when this days are considered holidays.
