AIR TRAFFIC WAYS
The only international airport in Albania offering international service is Mother Teresa International Airport, located in Rinas, 17 km northwest of Tirana. The most convenient way to move to Tirana and vice versa is by bus Rinas Express, or by taxi (you can make online bookings).
BY SEA
Visitors can travel to/from Albania by ship through the seashore city ports. Regular lines are provided to and from the following ports:
Port of Durrës: It connects to the Italian ports of Bari, Ancona and Trieste and the Slovenian Port of Koper.
Port of Saranda: It connects to the Corfu Island.
Port of Vlora: It connects with the Italian ports of Brindisi and Otranto.
Port of Shëngjini: It connects with the Italian port of Bari.
BY LAND
From Kosovo: The main road passes to the border crossing point of Qafë Morina (Albania) connecting Pristina with Kukës. The other border points are: Morina (Tropoja with Gjakova) and Qafë Prushi (Hasi with Gjakova).
From Greece: Via the Kapshtica border point in Korca; through Kakavija to Gjirokastra; through Qafë Bot (Konispol) that leads to Filat; via “Tre Urat” (The Three Bridges) that connect Përmet with Konica.
From Montenegro: Through Hani-Hot, leading to Shkodra; through Murriqan, that connects Shkorda with Ulqin (Montenegro).
From Macedonia: Through Qafë Thanë border point leading to Pogradec, Librazhd and Elbasan; through Tushemisht, on the south-eastern edge of Ohrid Lake, leading to Pogradec; through Ballta, leading to Peshkopi, Bulqizë and Burrel; through Gorica leading to the northern part of Prespa Lake.
