Dr. Arion Furxhi graduated in 2019 in physiotherapy at the Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel". In 2021, he finished a Professional Master in "Sports and Exercise Nutrition" at the "Atlantic" University of Technology in Sligo, Ireland.
Thanks to his good academic training, Dr. Furxhi started working in the profession immediately after his graduation, starting in one of the capital's clinics and later in a private hospital in Albania (in different departments: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiology/Heart Surgery, Neurology/Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Orthopedics, COVID-19).
He currently works at the National Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center of Children in Albania, dealing with patients with problems related to mental health and the neuromotor system (PCI, Genetic Syndrome, Mental Developmental Retardation, Microcephaly, ADHD, CSA).
Furthermore, he also works part time as a physiotherapist at the Albanian Basketball Federation (FSHB), Women's National Team.
Dr. Furxhi expresses that he has chosen to pursue his studies at UKZKM, which is one of the most prestigious universities in the country. The Albanian/Italian double degree was a big advantage because it gave them the opportunity to be "closer" to Europe. The European standard of teaching and campus structure, as well as foreign professors, were another reason why his main choice to complete his studies was UKZKM.
