Eftiola Pojani did her university studies at Catholic University OLGC, graduating the “Master of Sciences in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy” in 2012. She concluded her university studies by discussing her thesis on the search for drugs for neglected tropical diseases. Immediately afterwards she obtained the qualification to practice as a pharmacist, exercising it as Technical Director at the hospital pharmacy of a General Hospital in Tirana. In November 2013, she began her PhD studies in “Public Health, Molecular Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases and Pharmacovigilance”, at Catholic University OLGC ,Faculty of Pharmacy, with a research thesis on “Evaluating the effectiveness of the vaccines used in Albania by studying the immune response in subjects vaccinated with combined vaccines (MMR) or single vaccines (Hepatitis B)”. From November 2015 until today she is a member of the Department for Chemical-Toxicological and Pharmacological Evaluation of Drugs, at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
