Simone Barbi is an architect, graduated from the University of Florence, and holds a PhD in Architectural Composition from IUAV University of Venice. He teaches Architectural Design at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence and at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel" in Tirana. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Firenze Architettura and co-scientific coordinator of Archivia-Architettura. Since 2025 he is the scientific coordinator of ADAM-Archivio del Disegno di Architettura Mediterraneo. He has published monographs and essays in academic journals.
