The quadrivalent recombinant HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine has been recently incorporated into the National Immunization Program in Albania, marking a significant advancement in the fight against cervical cancer and HPV-related diseases. In this context, we would like to highlight a newly published article, one of the first of its kind conducted in Albania, titled "Cervical Cancer and HPV Vaccination: Insights into Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices among Albanian Women” carried out by the lecturers of the Department of Chemical-Pharmaceutical and Bio molecular Technologies in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Eftiola Pojani, Silvi Bozo, Elena Capparelli, and Bianka Hoxha. The current study reveals critical findings that will help guide efforts to enhance awareness and promote the uptake of the HPV vaccine within our community.
