Within the framework of the activities of the project “Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy in children with infantile cerebral palsy” funded by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, as part of the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in the field of education and science, the staff of the “Fehmi Agani” University of Gjakova visited the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”.
The President of the Foundation “Our Lady of Good Counsel” , Fr. Ruggero Valentini welcomed the members of the project Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, Prof. Ass. Dr. Dafinë Kaçuri, Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, PhD Enkeleda Gjini and PhD Emanuela Prendi. During the meeting, further cooperation between the two institutions was discussed.
The Nursing Course students were introduced to the following topics: “Transition Leadership” (Prof. Ass. Dr. Dafinë Kaçuri), “Healthcare System in Kosovo” (Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi).
During the visit in the University, the project staff also met with Prof.Asoc. Fabian Cenko, Health Director of the Catholic Hospital “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, where they discussed new cooperation opportunities for helping patients with infantile cerebral palsy. The project coordinators Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha (Albanian side) and Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku (Kosovar side) discussed future studies on pharmacological therapy and rehabilitation of patients with infantile cerebral palsy.
