Within the framework of the project “Pharmacological therapy, physiotherapeutic treatment and the benefits of rehabilitation with hydrotherapy in children with infantile cerebral palsy,” funded by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, and carried out under the bilateral cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in the field of education and science, the staff from the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” visited the “Fehmi Agani” University of Gjakova. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gjakova, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, together with Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku, welcomed Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha, PhD Enkeleda Gjini, and PhD Emanuela Prendi, further strengthening the academic collaboration between the two institutions.
During the visit, a successful meeting was also held with Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gjakova, focused on expanding cooperation in the psychological approach to treating patients with infantile cerebral palsy. This exchange of ideas and experiences emphasized the importance of integrating multidisciplinary methods in patient care. The project coordinators, Prof. Assoc. Malvina Hoxha (Albania) and Prof. Ass. Arben Boshnjaku (Republic of Kosovo), discussed the work carried out, and planned the upcoming activities related to the project.
