The Food Science specialist must have acquired theoretical, scientific, and professional knowledge in the field of food and nutrition, composition and structural and "functional" properties of food, methods of analysis of the main food components, evaluation of the hygienic and nutritional quality of foods, identification of foodborne diseases and knowledge of related legislation. The duration of the course is four years.
