The medical team at the National Transfusion Center will handle all the donation procedures:
- The candidate will complete a questionnaire.
- Fasting is not required; a light breakfast is permitted.
- The doctor will check blood pressure and hemoglobin, and only if these values are normal will the candidate be allowed to donate.
- The material used for the donation is sterile and disposable.
- The blood is tested before being transfused.
- After the donation, the following tests will be provided to the donor free of charge:
