The Catholic University "Our Lady of the Good Counsel" and a group of nine students participated in a global university initiative proposed by the US State Department and Facebook. The initiative is called Peer to Peer: Challenging Extremism (P2P) Facebook Global Digital Challenge and is designed to combat the spread of hate, prejudice and online extremism, promoting tolerance, understanding, problem solving and empathy among young people through the design and implementation of positive social media campaigns.
