Architecture of Socialist Classicism in Albania (1945-1960)
The conference was organised by the Mediterranean Architecture Research Centre and was curated by Alessandro Rinaldi, Kamela Guza and Federico Marcomini. It aimed to shed light on the architectural production in Albania in the fifteen years from 1945 to 1960 when, as in the other countries of the Socialist Bloc, adherence to the formulas of the classical language prevailed.
